Grants from the Bradshaw-Knight Foundation, Inc.
Note: The Bradshaw-Knight Foundation does accept grant proposals. Grants are by invitation only.
Please note that our proposal process is initiated by invitation of the Foundation. We only accept
a proposal written on a form which the Foundation makes available at its sole discretion.
The Bradshaw-Knight Foundation gives to activities consistent with its mission. In general, the Foundation supports organizations which are holistic in purpose, uniting the advancement of sustainable
means of life on the planet with the maintenance of communities of human scale, social and economic justice, and ethical treatment of animals.
In particular, the Foundation supports projects in the areas of:
- Sustainable, organic agriculture
- Ethical animal husbandry
- Sustainable, just systems of community development
- Environmental restoration, protection, and conservation
- Ecological justice film making, production and distribution
The Foundation's interests in the above areas include particular interest in supporting leadership development, philosophical inquiry, applied research,
and the development of communities of skilled practitioners. Most grants are given for a one to three year period and may be for either project or operating
support. Grassroots organizations are of particular interest to the foundation.

If your project is of interest and is consistent with our mission, you will receive a reply requesting more information or an invitation to submit a formal proposal. Not all e-mails receive a reply.
